What a blessed weekend! The Charity Bazaar event organized by International School of Creative Science with a commitment by all exhibitors to share a percentage off their revenue generated towards Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) | الهلال الأحمر الإماراتي for #Gaza was such a success. We were fortunate to be one of the exhibitors. The footfall exceeded our expectations as the turnout for the event was around ~2,000 people which lasted for 5 hours. The event was licensed by Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department Whilst the children enjoyed in an array of things such as petting zoo, henna, bouncy castles to name a few, the school also organized an auction from item donated by the sponsors with a pledge that 100% of the proceeds will be donated towards #Gaza. The generosity of the visitors towards the cause was something that words cannot describe. To put things into perspective – a donation for set of books went for 10x the retail value. Take a moment to ponder and reflect! We also witnessed the active involvement of other Dubai based faith-schools at the same event, showing that we are all united. Popular Social Media Influencer Khalid Al Ameri also made his presence felt amongst others. There are so many reflections & lessons. We hope that there would be similar gatherings for His sake and for us to be able to contribute in whatever capacity possible. Finally, thank you for all event organisers, sponsors, stakeholders. Your reward is with Him alone.
